O governador Mauro Mendes inaugurou a ampliação da Avenida Parque do Barbado, em Cuiabá, que visa melhorar a mobilidade urbana na região, proporcionando dignidade aos moradores dos bairros Jardim Renascer e Pedregal.
Com 700 metros de extensão em pista dupla, a avenida liga as avenidas das Torres e Archimedes Pereira Lima, representando um investimento de R$ 27 milhões.
Além da ampliação da via, a obra incluiu a canalização do córrego em toda sua extensão, uma ciclovia e iluminação pública em LED, proporcionando mais segurança e comodidade aos usuários.
O secretário Marcelo de Oliveira destacou que a obra não só melhora a mobilidade, mas também contribui para a segurança pública e saúde da população, fornecendo saneamento básico e iluminação adequada.
Durante o evento, foram entregues 411 escrituras definitivas de imóveis a moradores do bairro Jardim Renascer, demonstrando o compromisso do governo com a regularização fundiária e a valorização dos imóveis.
A presença de autoridades locais, como o presidente da Assembleia Legislativa, vereadores e deputados estaduais, reforçou a importância da obra para toda a cidade de Cuiabá.
