As motocicletas, da marca Honda-XRE 300, estão equipadas com sirene e giroflex, e visam melhorar a segurança e fluidez no trânsito da cidade. A frota de motocicletas antiga não era renovada há dez anos.
O objetivo da gestão é proporcionar condições de trabalho aos servidores e renovar as frotas para melhorar a mobilidade urbana. As novas motocicletas irão auxiliar na fiscalização, atendimento de acidentes e deslocamento mais rápido.
Ainda este ano, serão adquiridas mais cinco motos para completar a frota.
